Dylan Fedell Award 1 SHOUT OUT TO PHS TEACHER, DYLAN FEDELL - PRESIDENTIAL AWARD WINNER FOR SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS:
Dylan Fedell is an inspirational educator.  He is able to bring his classroom to life for each of his students, inspiring an interest in the subject matter, namely physics.  Having observed, firsthand, the way by which he navigates his lessons, creating a learning environment that is accessible to all learners, I can say that Mr. Fedell is a very talented teacher.  Additionally, Mr. Fedell has been instrumental in serving as the advisor for two STEM-based activities for high school students:  Chief Science Officers and STEM Outreach Club.  It is through his leadership that a group of high school students created an elementary STEM Family Night, which was well attended in the spring of 2022.  They are planning for another event in the spring of 2023.  His work with the Chief Science Officers has been recognized regionally, as his student leaders have represented the school district at region-wide events.  Dylan Fedell’s excitement for the sciences and his ability to inspire his students to learn beyond the walls of the classroom are just a few reasons why he is deserving of this recognition.

We are so proud of Dylan and we are thankful for the effort he puts forth so INSPIRE students!  Palisades students are INSPIRED TO LEAD AND PREPARED TO SUCCEED thanks to teachers like Dylan!

Heff US News
US News 2
At the last meeting, PHS Principal, Rich Heffernan, talked about the US News and World Report recognition for PHS as a top high school in the nation! We are so proud of our students, faculty and staff for earning this prestigious national recognition! And we are thankful to our entire district's faculty, staff and administration for laying the foundation for success of our students at the high school level! Several students, faculty and staff members shared what makes Palisades so special - community, support and high expectations were among the common themes shared during their presentation.

Palisades High School is ranked #2579 out of nearly 18,000 high schools in the country and #100 out of 750 Pennsylvania public, charter and magnet high schools! We are also the TOP high school in Upper Bucks! These are outstanding accomplishments!

Many variables contribute to having a top high school in the nation. It’s the academic program, the technical school program, our co-curricular and extra curricular activities, a safe environment learning environment, the support of our parents, and the work of our elementary and middle schools in preparing our students for high school. It is due to the work of our School Board for providing the resources and policies to deliver a stellar program for all students, Dr. O’Connell for her creativity and student-centered mindset and our community partners for their support.

Hats off to our high school for a job well done! Five years and running! We look forward to the future successes and recognitions!
