US NEWS

PHS NAMED A "BEST HIGH SCHOOL IN THE NATION" BY US NEWS AND WORLD REPORT...5 YEARS RUNNING!

For the 5th year in a row, Palisades High School has been named in the top 40% of high schools in the nation (nearly 25,000 schools were ranked) and 100th (out of 750) in the state of Pennsylvania!  This is an exciting honor for Palisades High School and all of our schools - the foundation for high achievement is laid at the elementary and middle school levels!  We are so proud of our students' performance and proud of all of our staff for helping to make this outstanding award happen!  (And just as a bonus, Palisades ranked tops in Upper Bucks!  Way to go team!)

PCF'S CLOTHING/BACKPACK/SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION:  Many thanks to the United Way and to Mrs. Meg Esswein and the friends of Hailey Robert for their generous donation of book bags and supplies for back to school. We had a record number of families come out last Saturday to pick up clothing, gift cards and backpacks! We are so delighted to have been able to offer this opportunity once again this year and could not have done it without their support and generosity!
Next up...PCF will be running a coat drive in October. Youth coats needed! We will be hosting a coat distribution early in November - stay tuned for drop off times/spots!
Any monetary donations to PCF to help with this event can be made by visiting the website at www.palisadescommunityfoundation.com

Also from PCF, the World Famous Harlem Wizards are coming to Palisades High School on Monday November 13th - mark your calendar for this family fun event!  More details to follow.
