CLOTHING/BACKPACK/SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION:  Palisades Community Foundation will be hosting a clothing, backpack and supply distribution on Saturday, August 26th from 9AM until noon in the high school’s gold gym (please park on the tennis court side of the high school to enter). This is a free event!  We will have a limited number of gift cards available for distribution also courtesy of PCF.

FREE BREAKFAST FOR ALL STUDENTS:  Reminder…The state has officially approved FREE breakfast for all students for the 2023-24 school year.  In addition, any family that is qualified for a reduced priced meal, will now be qualified to receive FREE lunch for the school year.  The guidelines for state qualification have changed.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM A “GO” AT DN FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR:  With the Governor’s passing of the state budget a week or so ago, we have received approval for our grant to support a Preschool Program at Durham Nockamixon!  This is a FREE program for families with children ages 3 and 4 who meet the income requirements (family of 4 earning less than $90,000).  This program will be run by LifeSpan, using the funding received from a grant written by the United Way.  If you are interested in this program, please complete this application - APPLICATION LINK.  Any questions, please contact Marie Collie [email protected] or Donna Holmes [email protected] 


RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION FORMS:  In order to complete your student’s Returning Student Registration Forms, please log into your PowerSchool Account, select your child and click on the FORMS link on the left hand side under INFORMATION.  You will then see the forms to be completed   THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COMPLETE!  We must have up to date medical and contact information for your student(s).  It doesn’t take long to complete, and the information is imperative for us to communicate effectively with you AND to provide the medical attention your student(s) need.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.  Any questions, please contact me at 610-847-5131, ext. 2401 or email [email protected]

SENIOR CITIZENS EXPO: Senator Jarrett Coleman will be hosting a Senior Expo on October 12th at the Upper Bucks County Technical School from 9am-1pm at 3115 Ridge Road, Perkasie PA 18944. 


Seniors will be able to enjoy food/drinks, receive a flu shot, play games, attend seminars and whole lot more. On behalf of Senator Coleman, we would appreciate your help with sharing our event sign-up with your friends and neighbors.
