This week has been National School Counselors Week.  We are truly appreciative of the work that our school counselors do to support our students' academic and mental health needs.  The work they do is rewarding (and often stressful).  Their efforts are so appreciated in helping our students SHINE!  They help bring out the best in our youth!  You make a difference every day!  Kudos to all of you!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASS OF 2037 IS NOW OPEN!

Graduation Date for the Class of 2024

The graduation date for the Class of 2024 will be Friday, May 31st at 5:30 PM in Walter T. Rohrer stadium. The rain date will be Saturday, June 1st at 10:00 AM. More information will be forthcoming.

2024-25 Course Registration Info.

On Tuesday, February 6th, class meetings were held to explain the 2024-25 course registration process. Next week, an informational email will be sent to parents/guardians that explains the process. If you would like to review the 2024-25 Curriculum Guide, please click this link.

8th Grade Parent Information Night

On Thursday, February 15th from 6:00-7:30 PM we will host a PARENT Information Night for current 8th grader parents/guardians. If you know an 8th grader’s parent that lives in the district, please help us spread the word. Click this link for the letter that was emailed to 8th grade parents.

Unified T-Shirt Sale

Palisades High School is a Special Olympics Unified Champion School that promotes social inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities through sports, youth leadership, & whole school engagement.

The Unified Sports Program is selling T-shirts for $15.  Proceeds will be donated to the PHS Polar Plunge Team to benefit Special Olympics PA.

BCMEA Honors Festival

Congratulations to the following students for successfully auditioning into the Bucks County Music Educators Association Festival ensembles! These students will be representing Palisades High School at the event on March 14th - 16th at Pennridge High School. It is an honor to be selected - we are proud of both these students and all of the students who auditioned. 

Middle School Choir:  Lauryl Baumgardner, Ben Carrillo, Emma Crooke, Willow Gomez, Lorelei Irvine, Nico LeBlanc, Mollee Liberg, Lillian Stump, Alex Tumolo, and Viola Yates-Podgurski

High School Band:  Bo Musick (tuba) and Gianna Nastasi (flute)

STEM NIGHT…MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

The third annual STEM Night is on March 7th, 6-8 PM, located in the high school Science Wing and Purple Gym.

The Palisades STEM Outreach Club invites Palisades students, grades 3-8, and their parents to enjoy a night of FREE STEM activities, demonstrations, and giveaways! 

This year's event is bigger and better than ever! We have many new activities and demonstrations for participants, including 3D printing pens, virtual reality headsets, Raspberry Pi gaming rooms, and a new mascot - a robotic dog, that students will name at the event! We also have the Nurture Nature Center and Delaware Valley University's Biology Club running tables!

In addition to giveaways, we will have a raffle for take-home STEM kits, and the Freshman Class is selling snacks & drinks and running a basket raffle!

We hope to see you there!

Each year, PenSPRA presents two, one-year scholarships worth $1,000 each. Scholarships will be awarded to one public school student from each of PenSPRA’s two regions. The candidates should have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and have already been accepted at or applied to a two- or four-year college, vocational-technical school or other institution of higher learning. 

Completed applications for the scholarship must be submitted by Sunday, March 31, 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The recipients will be announced in the beginning of May 2024.

If you are interested in playing Spring Travel Soccer with Palisades YSA and did not play Fall Travel Soccer with us, please fill out this interest form: https://pysanet.sportngin.com/register/form/344644746

If you DID play Fall Travel Soccer, please let your coach know/RSVP in SportsEngine if you are/are not continuing this Spring.

Spring games are played mostly on Sundays from early April through early June with practices during the week.
