PCF IS TAKING DONATIONS FOR THE SCHNEIDERWIND FAMILY: 

As you may know, a Tinicum family has suffered from a devastating house fire.  The family was not at home, so they are safe.  They did, sadly, lose their beloved dog and of course, many belongings.  PCF has made a donation and will continue to accept funds to be sent to the family to help with any needs they have as they recover from the fire and their losses.  To make a donation, please go to their website - www.palisadescommunityfoundation.com and use PAYPAL or mail a check.  Please note the family's name in the memo area.

Tickets are now on sale for Matilda the Musical Jr. at PALMS! Our cast and crew have been working since October to bring this magical story to life.

This year’s WIP students designed sweatshirts for purchase. If interested in strutting your stuff in a high quality product while simultaneously supporting our program’s ecological efforts, order yours today! Simply print the order form, complete and send back to PALMS with payment by Friday February 2nd. All orders will be sent home with students or will be available for office pick up by the end of February.

Winter Sports Update

Winter sports competitions are in full swing! Click this link for a full calendar of athletic events. 

Last weekend, the Girls Wrestling team competed in the Souderton HS Girls Wrestling tournament. Our girls placed 5th out of 39 teams! Savannah Witt placed 1st at 120, Hannah Gibson placed 3rd at 144, Bryce Sneider placed 3rd at 192, and Siobhan Devlin placed 4th at 144.

Congratulations to the following members of the Boys Wrestling team that placed at the Colonial League individual wrestling tournament last weekend, which includes:

Danny Haubert - Champion - 1st place at 160

Brock Schneiderwind - 2nd place at 114

Angelo Ziccardi - 3rd place at 133

During the Colonial League wrestling tournament Danny Haubert got his 100th career win! Congratulations on this huge milestone accomplishment!

2024-25 Technical School Application is OPEN 

Students interested in attending the Upper Bucks County Technical School for the 2024-25 school year must complete an online application.  The completion of the application is only necessary for students that will be new to the Technical school. The application is available using this  link and should be completed by February 9th. Completed applications are required to be considered for all shop areas.  Videos are available to review the programs through their website and students/parents are encouraged to view videos for shops for which they are interested in applying. 

Again, returning Technical School students DO NOT need to complete the application. ONLY those who did not attend the Technical school this year must complete the application.

Long-Term Math Substitute Teacher - at Palisades Middle and High School.  Applicants must hold a valid PA certification in Mathematics 7-12. Qualified applicants should be able to teach all levels of mathematics while integrating technology.  Recent graduates that lack the actual certification must include a letter from their college demonstrating proof of submission to PDE having met all requirements or a copy of receipt of application to PDE. 

Position starts the beginning of the second semester of the 2023/2024 school year through the end of the 2023/2024 school year.  

Interested applicants need to submit through Recruit and Hire at https://palisades.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=1357: letter of interest, resume, completed PA standard application, college transcripts, copy of PA teaching certificate, 3 letters of recommendation, clearances (current within the past 12 months of the closing date of this posting: Acts 24, 34, 114 & 151 current within a year), and disclosure form(s) Act 168. Job will be posted until filled.

Required clearances include: Acts 24, 34, 114 & 151 (dated within the past 12 months of the closing date of this posting.
