GNastasi

FROM THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT: Congratulations to Gianna Nastasi for being selected to participate in District Band following a successful audition! Gianna will represent Palisades at the District Band Festival at Bensalem High School from January 10-12. Way to go Gianna!

EYoung

FROM ATHLETICS:  Congratulations to Ella Young - Athlete of the Week!  She is currently averaging 6.8 points per game and 5 rebounds per game!

Coach’s Comment:

"Ella has been really shining in her first few varsity games. She just goes out and plays. Even when on the bench she is very dialed into the game and it's awesome to see her out there gelling with the older girls. She had a career high 11 points against Bangor and is currently our leading scorer on the team.”

UPDATE FROM OUR FRIENDS AT FRESH CONNECT:
All Fresh Connect operations will be closed between December 25-January 1. Our regular distribution schedule will resume on Tuesday, January 2. We saw an increased need for fresh, healthy produce this year and collectively were able to meet it and better serve our communities. Thank you for all your support in 2023!

Fresh Connect distributes from the PALMS parking lot on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month and serves 450 households in our community during the year.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR DONORS WHO HAVE HELPED WITH THE HOLIDAY GIVING TREE, ET AL: From the start of this school year, the generosity of local organizations and individuals has been overwhelming (see presentation link for a list of recent donors).  In addition, through the collaborative work of the Palisades Community Foundation and the district’s Community Relations office, School Counselors and School Nurses, over 100 students were helped to a much brighter holiday!  Our community generously donated more than 300 gifts and $3000 in gift cards for children in our community!  Easily, more than $8500 was donated through this project.

Special thanks to Mrs. Diana Santoro - the chief elf in our Community Relations Office - for organizing the effort and getting those presents to the right schools for pick up!

Best wishes from PCF and PSD for a wonderful holiday!  Thank you for helping us help others in this community!  Your gift will mean the world to someone this holiday season!
