This adjudication rated our ensembles based on a multitude of standards and domains agreed on across the state through PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association).  Additionally, our guest provided great feedback and tips to help our students perform their best at this week's Spring Concert!

In order, the rankings are:
-Superior (outstanding 13-15 points)
Excellent (advanced 10-12 points)
Good (Proficient 7-9 points)
Fair (Basic 4-6 points)

We are proud to share that ALL four ensembles, 6th Grade Band, 6th Grade Orchestra, 7/8 Band, and 7/8 Orchestra, earned a Superior rating!  We are so proud of our amazing students here at PALMS! Amazing work this school year!

ACTIVITIES FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH INCLUDE:

During week 2, positive affirmations were the message of the week!  Each school posted banners inside and wrote with sidewalk chalk outside to promote uplifting messages to students and to staff!  Messages like, "YOU'VE GOT THIS!" OR "TRUST THE PROCESS" AND "MAKE IT A GOOD DAY!" were all reminders of how important it is to stay positive and keep on going to achieve your goals!

Again, thank you to our school counselors who have worked together to promote positive messaging and Mental Health Awareness Month.

FREE CLASS OPPORTUNITY! Try this class and find out why Qi Gong is the most popular form of exercise in the world.

Health Qi Gong (pronounced chee gong) is an ancient form of exercise that combines stretches, flowing movements and standing postures with deep breathing. The gentle rhythmic movements of Qi Gong clear tension from the muscles, reduces stress and help calm the mind. It is both energizing and relaxing. Some of the many benefits of Qi Gong are helping boost the immune system, better balance and increased vitality.
