BCMEA County Music Festival:

On Wednesday, January 18th, PALMS was represented by nine students from Band, Chorus, and Orchestra to audition for the BCMEA Honors Ensembles.  These students have been preparing their music since the beginning of the school year.  They auditioned against top music students across Bucks County.  Of those that auditioned, six students have earned a spot in the ensembles and will represent PALMS in the BCMEA Music Festival this March:

PHS Students selected to BCMEA Honor Band: 

On Saturday morning (1/21/23), PHS was represented by three students from our Concert Band to audition for the BCMEA Honor Band. These students have been preparing for the audition since the beginning of the school year. Of the three students who auditioned, two of our students have earned a place in the ensemble. The students who will be participating in the ensemble this year are:

Gianna Nastasi (9th Grade)

William Oldford (12th Grade)

On Saturday morning, PHS was represented by 11 students from Madrigals Singers to audition for BCMEA (Bucks County Music Educators Association) honors choir. Students have been preparing for the audition since October. 11 students earned a place in the honors choir. Please join me in congratulating the following students:

Bocce Ball Team:

Our Bocce Ball team consisting of the following students:  Grace Martens, Morgan Wright, Kassandra Mundhenk, Ailish Kelleher, Kayla Russo, Samantha Christen, Averie Winsor, Leonardo Cerborino, Kylie Helfrich, Gianna Nastasi, Blake Reinard, Roman Santoro, Ryleigh and Matthew Mcanally - is coached by Mrs. Dani Thomas and student coach Grace McArdle. Help Wanted

Part-Time Food Handler (anticipated):
 Part-time, 4.5 hours per day (9:15 am to 1:45 pm), 10 month, Food Handler position available starting February 6, 2023 at Tinicum Elementary School. Candidate must be able to complete multiple tasks, prepare food, cook meals, serve the student meals, and assist with routine kitchen tasks such as operating kitchen equipment and daily clean-up. Candidates must be willing to become certified in Serv-Safe within the first six months of employment.

Flag Football

YOUTH SPRING FLAG FOOTBALL:

Youth NFL Flag Football provides an exciting way for kids to have a blast practicing and playing the game, all while learning valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and commitment. There is NO travel involved as all games are played at the fields in Perkasie. Teams are assigned actual NFL team names and each player is given a reversible jersey with the team logo.
